REFUND & RETURN POLICY

Thank you for using Shop For Me www.shopforme.am. We place online orders on behalf of our customers using third-party Merchant websites and our Refund & Return Policy is designed to clarify our rights, responsibilities and limitations on refunds and returns.

By using our Services, you agree to the policy below.

1. Our Role in Your Orders

We act as a shopping facilitator which means we purchase the requested items on your behalf from third-party Merchants.

Refunds and returns strictly depend on the Merchant's policies. It is our responsibility to contact the Merchant regarding your return request but we are not responsible for Merchant decisions that are supported by their Return Policy.

2. Your Rights and Responsibilities

You must notify us within 2 business days if your order is damaged, defective or incorrect.

In order to minimize return requests, there are a few things to look out for and keep in mind prior to ordering:

  • It is your responsibility to read the Merchant's Return Policy so that you are informed of the eligible return period, your rights and other relevant details
  • It is your right to request a return if the item is return-eligible. Eligibility is determined by the Merchant and is defined in their Return Policy. Items with special markers such as "Final Sale" cannot be returned
  • The Merchant's return period begins on the day the order is delivered to our US warehouse and not when you receive the order in Armenia
  • If a return request is approved, it is your responsibility to return the item in the original condition you received it (see Section V)
  • If you receive an incorrect item, it must be returned to us within 3 business days and your refund will be processed once the item is returned
  • The transit time for exporting a package from the RA to the US can take up to 25 business days
  • Some Merchants doing business in the United States fulfill their online orders via 3rd party Merchants located outside of the US. As a result, delivery might take longer than expected. It is your responsibility to read the shipping origin details on the Merchant's website prior to confirming your order with us

3. Refunds for Service Fees

Eligible for Refund

You may request a refund of our service fees if:

  • You receive a different item than what was ordered
  • The order was not placed despite successful payment to us
  • The Merchant cancels the order before fulfillment
  • We are unable to complete your order due to technical issues

Not Eligible for Refund

Service fees are non-refundable if:

  • You change your mind after the order has been placed
  • You are dissatisfied with your purchase
  • Issues result from delays or policies of the Merchant or delivery carrier

4. Refunds for Products Purchased Through Us

We do not manufacture or directly sell products therefore all product-related refunds and returns must follow the third-party Merchant's policies.

Eligible For Refund

We will request a product refund from the Merchant if:

  • The item arrives damaged or defective
  • The wrong item was delivered to our US warehouse and you do not wish for a replacement
  • The item never arrives and the Merchant confirms non-delivery
  • The Merchant provides a return window that has not yet expired

Not Eligible For Refund

Refunds for products may not be available if:

  • The Merchant's return window has expired
  • The product is marked final sale, non-returnable, or non-refundable
  • The Merchant denies a submitted claim after a thorough investigation
  • The customer refuses to return the product when required

5. Process For Return Eligible Orders

If Your Order Has Not Left Our US Warehouse

You may request a return and we will send your order back to the Merchant. A service fee of 1000 AMD will apply and will be deducted from your SFM wallet.

If Your Order Has Arrived to the RA

  1. Contact us at returns@shopforme.am with your order details and reason for return
  2. We will submit the return request to the Merchant on your behalf
  3. The merchant will provide return instructions if the return request is approved (e.g., shipping label, packaging requirements)
  4. It is your responsibility to return the package to us quickly, in the original packaging/box and unsealed for review. Labels and tags must be attached and found in new condition as when you received the order. Failure to return the item in new and unused condition can result in refusal to process the return, as determined by us
  5. You will be responsible for all shipping fees associated with the return and a 2500 AMD service fee. The total cost (shipping and service fees) will be deducted from your wallet and shipment will not take place until balance is paid
  6. Return shipment will take place via third-party postal service and details will be shared with you once the package is dropped off
  7. We are not responsible for any losses or damages caused during transit by the third-party postal service
  8. If your package is lost or damaged prior to arriving to the United States, it is your responsibility to file a claim with the local postal service

6. Processing Refunds

Merchant refunds will be issued directly by the Merchant to the original payment method used through our service

  • Merchant refund processing times vary depending on the bank, payment gateway and Merchant but typically take 5-10 business days after item is received in their warehouse
  • We will process your refund no later than 1 business day after receiving the refund from the merchant and your funds will appear in your SFM wallet for future use
  • Per your request, we can process your funds back to your original form of payment

7. Cancellations

Before Order Is Placed

If you request cancellation before we place the order with the Merchant, you will receive a full refund including the SFM service fee.

After Order Placement

Cancellation may not be possible and the request will follow the Merchant's Cancellation Policy. You may request a return for eligible orders (see Section V)

Our service fee will not be refunded and you will be responsible for restocking fees, if applicable.
